  1. I love the “Land Treasures” series. The free brushstrokes and the wonderful shapes.I like the sense of exploration and response to the paintings.

  2. Thank you Carol, I can hear your voice in your comments and very much appreciate your opinion. The “Land Treasures” paintings are still new to me and the closest to representational painting I’ve ever come. Now in my studio I’m in the middle of 6 works. 30″ square. I’ve started them the same way I started the “Land Treasures” works, with broad strokes of latex, but I’ve no idea where they are leading. The color is misleading, shall I say, so far. I like working on more than one painting at a time; it keeps me from getting attached too early.
